The General Manager oversees all food and beverage operations at Fifth Third Arena , the official practice facility of the Chicago Blackhawks . This leadership role manages two signature concepts :
- Rocky’s Bar – a tribute to the late Chairman Rocky Wirtz , and a fan-favorite from the United Center, anchoring the arena’s dining experience with elevated cocktails, curated food offerings, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that celebrates a life well lived.
- Raise the Cup Café – an all-day destination serving coffee and premium bites , designed to fuel athletes, guests, and staff with quality and care.
The General Manager drives operational excellence, upholds brand standards, and leads a passionate team dedicated to creating memorable guest experiences in every interaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of Rocky’s Bar and Raise the Cup Café, ensuring exceptional service, quality, and efficiencyLead, train, and develop team members to deliver consistent, high-quality hospitality aligned with One Off Hospitality and Chicago Blackhawks standardsConduct regular leadership and pre-shift meetings to communicate financial goals, service standards, operational priorities, and team updatesOversee payroll edits and labor management to ensure compliance and accuracyMonitor budgets, financial performance, and P&L statements to meet or exceed operational and profitability goalsEnsure all food and beverage service areas are compliant with health, sanitation, and safety regulationsManage vendor relationships, purchasing, and inventory control for both locationsFoster a collaborative relationship between the bar, café, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless coordination and communicationHandle guest inquiries and resolve issues in a professional, solution-oriented mannerOversee facility maintenance and ensure all spaces meet standards for cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic presentationBalance administrative responsibilities with active floor management, maintaining a visible leadership presence during serviceMonitor labor costs, revenue targets, and profitability, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvementUphold and promote the values, mission, and brand identity of One Off Hospitality , Fifth Third Arena , and the Chicago Blackhawks organizationFoster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented work culture rooted in hospitality, professionalism, and funPartner with arena leadership to support events, special programs, and community activationsServe as an ambassador for Fifth Third Arena’s guest experience, embodying the warmth, integrity, and passion of the Blackhawks brandPerform additional duties as assigned by senior leadershipMinimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferredMinimum 5 years of management experience in restaurant, bar, or hospitality operationsStrong beverage and culinary knowledge, with experience managing both bar and café-style conceptsIllinois Manager Food Sanitation Certification , Allergen Certification , and BASSET Certification requiredProven leadership ability with experience in training, staff development, and team motivationFinancial literacy, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L managementExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with POS and scheduling systems (e.g., Toast, 7shifts, or similar)Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with composure and professionalism.Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and event daysCommitment to maintaining the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and safetyPhysical Demands and Work Environment
