Excelsior University is recruiting Subject Matter Experts (SME) on a contractual basis to support individual course development. The SME will have advanced knowledge and expertise in computer science and Artificial Intelligence. Courses to be developed or revised may include : (1) Machine Learning Foundations : Responsible AI Development (2) Natural Language Processing and Emerging Apps (3) Visionary Machines : Exploring Computer Vision Technologies (4) Responsible AI : Neural Networks and Deep Learning (5) Ethics Society, and Law in AI.
Reporting to the Department Chair, the SME plays a key role in the design and revision of course content. The SME works closely with the Department Chair, Learning Experience Designer, and other staff across the University during the course development process. The course development process lasts about 20-weeks / 4.5 months, unless it is an expedited development. This timeline does not include the Excelsior onboarding and compliance training.
