The Ads Safety team protects Google's users and enables a sustainable ads ecosystem by fighting abuse. In this role, you will protect users from scams that originate from Search. This is a critical issue that involves addressing various forms of query-based scams and deceptive marketing, where bad actors exploit user intent to lead them to harm.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Own the product strategy and roadmap for fighting Search-based scams, with a focus on deceptive marketing tactics and query-based attack vectors.

Collaborate with development to build and deploy solutions that manage risk at scale.

Collaborate with User Experience (UX) to understand user harm, and design experiences that prevent harm.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Ads, UX, Trust and Safety, Legal, Public Relations (PR) and Business to achieve our mutually shared objectives.

Leverage data to track performance, measure impact, and evolve our strategy.
