Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Logistics and Trade Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team. This critical role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our global logistics operations and ensuring strict adherence to international trade regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain management, customs compliance, and freight forwarding, with a proven track record of optimizing processes and mitigating risks.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global logistics strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Oversee all aspects of international shipping, including export / import documentation, customs declarations, and tariff classifications.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant domestic and international trade regulations, including ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and other applicable laws.
• Conduct regular audits of logistics and trade compliance processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to company policies.
• Develop and deliver training programs to internal teams on trade compliance regulations and best practices.
• Stay informed of changes in global trade laws and regulations, assessing their impact on company operations and implementing necessary adjustments.
• Manage and resolve any customs-related issues, delays, or penalties.
• Implement and maintain robust record-keeping systems for all logistics and trade compliance activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, engineering, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics and trade compliance into business operations.
