As an X-Ray Technologist Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while providing exceptional patient care. Create a calm atmosphere and ensure that every patient feels supported and informed during their examination.
Key Responsibilities :
- Expertly identify anatomical structures in all images and ensure accurate file identification.
- Exhibit proficiency in performing a full range of radiographic procedures and using all related equipment effectively.
- Welcome patients, gather their medical history, and accurately document information in the computer system.
- Deliver x-ray images at the highest quality standards.
- Prioritize patient safety by minimizing radiation exposure and demonstrating exceptional patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs throughout examinations.
- Provide flexible coverage when needed, including during unexpected staff absences or busy schedules.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to new team members.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
- Adhere strictly to Standards of Care, facility policies, and regulatory guidelines, including ARRT Standards of Ethics.
- Uphold confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Enhance patient experience by clearly conveying information about procedures and follow-up requirements.
- Ensure a positive experience for referring providers by consistently delivering excellent quality work.
- Submit diagnostic-quality images without the need for additional acquisitions and perform quality checks on both images and equipment.
- Make informed decisions confidently after evaluating all possible options.
- Contribute to a streamlined outpatient operation, maximizing productivity within your specialty.
- Utilize sterile techniques to prevent contamination.
- Review examinations for technical accuracy, present completed work to radiologists, and communicate vital information to patient care teams.
- Foster teamwork through positive interactions and a collaborative work atmosphere.
- Meet deadlines and exhibit accountability, adaptability, and flexibility.
- Invest in your professional growth by maintaining certifications and engaging in educational opportunities like workshops and conferences.
- Ensure the cleanliness of examination rooms.

Qualifications Required :
High school diploma or equivalent.ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist)® certification.Ability to effectively use or learn the department’s computerized systems and associated devices.Preferred Qualifications :
Associate or Bachelor's degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine.A minimum of 1 year of experience as a general radiologic technologist.Ability to execute verbal and written instructions accurately.Strong communication skills with patients, family members, and team members.Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Vision must be correctable to 20 / 20 for equipment operation and image review.Core Relationships :

Our benefits package includes a comprehensive array of options, including recognition programs and retirement contributions. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $23.41 to $41.83, depending on full-time employment status.
