Health Information Management Analyst

A company is looking for a HIM Data Integrity Analyst I.

Key Responsibilities

Reviews electronic medical records to validate and correct integrity issues

Analyzes chart correction scenarios and performs technical chart corrections

Maintains the Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) and collaborates with multiple departments to ensure accurate patient information

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

2 years of health information management experience

Associate Degree in Health Information Management or related field (preferred)

Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification (preferred)

Knowledge of medical documentation requirements and data collection techniques

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
