Power Risk Analyst

The Power Risk Analyst will provide critical analysis and communication of risk exposures related to portfolio assets, operations, and trading activities. This role is a key contributor in identifying and quantifying financial risk, preparing weekly Risk Committee materials, and serving as the primary risk liaison for ETRM platform support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily risk analysis, valuation, and reporting for power market trading positions; calculate and monitor VaR, MtM, and conduct stress testing.
• Collaborate with trading, operations, and middle / back-office teams to validate strategies, ensure compliance with hedge policies, and maintain accurate risk data flows.
• Lead preparation of weekly Risk Committee reports, including portfolio exposure, P&L attribution, and limit monitoring; provide market insights and scenario analysis.
• Manage ETRM system support for the risk team, ensuring accurate trade capture, valuation consistency, and system enhancements.
