BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Mental Health Technician Prime Pool to join our outstanding and compassionate team at St. Anthony's!

Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Position Details :

Facility : St. Anthony's

Location : St. Petersburg, FL

Status : Pool, Hourly

Shift Hours : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM

Weekend Work : Every Other

On Call : No

The Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Responsibilities :

Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.

Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.

Required Certification / Licensures :

BLS (Basic Life Support)

CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred

Patient Care Technician - preferred

Required Education :

High School or Equivalent

Associate's degree in related field - Preferred

Bachelor's degree in related field- Preferred

Preferred Experience :

• 6 months - Psychology based experience
