BAYADA offers Home Health Aides (HHAs) :

Base Pay : $17 - $20 / hour on a case by case basis

BAYADA hosts CHHA certification classes monthly, as well as certified nursing assistant (CNA) to CHHA conversion courses!

Qualifications for HHA

Home Health Aide :

Must have at least one year of work experience

Must be listed on the NJ Board of Nursing registry, active and in good standing.

Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English

Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination

Meet all state requirements

Job Responsibilities for HHA

Home Health Aides :

Activities of daily living

Light housekeeping

Bathing

Grooming

Toileting

Nail care

Range of motion / exercises

Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices

Oral feeding

Assisting with ambulation

Medication assistance
