About the Team

You will be part of the Zoom Client team focusing on the core frontend of Whiteboard, dedicated to delivering high-performance, real-time collaboration through Canvas and WebGL technologies.

Responsibilities

Design and implement innovative real-time whiteboard features using React or Vue.

Enhance Canvas and WebGL rendering for optimal, low-latency drawing and interaction experiences.

Profile and elevate performance and memory usage across various browsers and devices.

Work collaboratively with designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to produce polished and accessible user experiences.

Advance frontend architecture and tooling to enhance reliability and speed.

Implement analytics and experiments to inform product decisions and improve quality.

Conduct code reviews and mentor teammates to raise the technical capabilities within the team.

What We're Looking For

Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills with experience in modern frameworks like React or Vue, along with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and 4+ years in frontend development.

Ability to write high-quality, well-tested UI code and create reusable components.

Experience optimizing graphics-intensive UIs with Canvas or WebGL, or a willingness to learn quickly with support.

A track record of shipping end-to-end features for real-time or collaborative web applications.

Strong partnership skills with Design, Backend, and QA teams to achieve common goals.

Excellent communication skills, especially in code reviews and asynchronous documentation.

Salary Range

Minimum : $98,900.00

Maximum : $228,700.00

This figure includes base salary, bonus, and equity value as part of our Total Direct Compensation philosophy. Please note that starting pay will be based on various factors, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

There is a location-based compensation structure, and different ranges may apply to candidates from various locations.
