As a Business Development Manager , you will own and execute the go-to-market strategy for autonomous construction solutions. This role requires a proven business builder who can identify opportunity, lead with influence, and close high-value partnerships with top-tier customers. You will work cross-functionally to shape market strategy, build the pipeline, lead customer engagement efforts, and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure solutions meet real-world demands. Your success will be measured not only in closed business, but in shaping a scalable growth engine for ASI's construction segment.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand ASI's presence in the construction technology sector.

Identify and secure strategic partnerships with OEMs, end users, and integrators to drive product adoption.

Maintain deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and technical requirements in construction environments.

Manage the complete sales cycle-from lead generation to contract closure-using ASI's CRM tools.

Build and maintain a qualified pipeline while ensuring consistent deal flow and forecast accuracy.

Coordinate with Marketing and Product teams to align campaigns, collateral, and demos with customer needs and market trends.

Deliver compelling, ROI-focused presentations tailored to executive and technical stakeholders.

Foster and manage long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure continued customer success and loyalty.

Represent ASI at trade shows, conferences, and technical demos to increase brand awareness and generate leads.

Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to relay market feedback and help shape product strategy.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.

10+ years of experience in B2B sales in construction, industrial automation, or heavy equipment sectors.

Proven track record of developing new business, closing complex deals, and managing strategic accounts.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to engage both executive and technical audiences.

Demonstrated success in negotiation, deal structuring, and long-term relationship building.

Experience working in dynamic, cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments.

Familiarity with robotics, autonomy, or construction technology is strongly preferred.

Skilled in using CRM platforms for sales tracking, pipeline management, and reporting.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and prioritizing effectively across multiple initiatives.

Willingness to travel up to 50% for client meetings, industry events, and site visits.
