About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (Deputy CISO) to serve as a strategic leader in aligning business unit IT priorities with enterprise security and platform capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration, governance, and oversight to uphold security standards and enable innovation. This role involves building and leading a high-performing security team, partnering with business unit IT leaders to ensure the security and effectiveness of various platforms, and leading the enterprise application security program. The Deputy CISO will also be instrumental in the secure enablement of IT initiatives, driving the adoption of security best practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry security standards. Applicants for the Deputy CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years' experience in information security and / or application development, including at least 7 years in an executive security leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing security and application development lifecycles, as well as relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC. Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills are essential, as is the ability to balance risk and enablement. The role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technical architecture, cybersecurity principles, and a strong background in enterprise application security and modernization.
