Job Summary :
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you'll play a key role in enhancing our network security, identity management, and cloud infrastructure. You'll work to improve threat detection and response and ensure our security tools are effective and efficient. Additionally, you'll work with the Infrastructure team to implement security changes smoothly across all systems.

Key Responsibilities :
Manage and improve identity and access management (IAM) systems, focusing on integrating secure authentication methods.Identify and resolve cloud security issues, using automation to prevent and remediate misconfigurations.Conduct proactive threat hunting and expand detection capabilities to enhance incident response.Conduct assessments of firewall configurations, optimizing settings and policies to strengthen defenses, especially in the areas of intrusion prevention and detection, as well as Zero Trust architecture.Evaluate and implement new features and automation to reduce false positives and increase overall system efficiency, driving continuous improvement in security operations.Qualifications :
8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security engineering and operations.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven expertise in configuring and optimizing firewall technologies, with experience in assessing and improving security postures.Hands-on experience with identity and access management solutions, particularly secure authentication integrations.Experience with endpoint security and incident response in cloud environments.Preferred experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Okta, AWS, and CrowdStrike.Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, including access control and secure resource management.Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF and CIS.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently.Experience working in regulated environments is a plus.Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
