North Alabama Hospital, a Level 3 Trauma Center within the LifePoint Health system, is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Urologist to provide locum tenens coverage. This is an ongoing vacancy while the facility conducts a permanent search. The role requires both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with hospital / surgery center privileges.

Practice Setting : Inpatient + Outpatient

Daily Census : 20 patients per shift

Beds in Department : 3

Rounding : Both inpatient and clinic required

EMR Systems : Athena & Meditech

Credentialing : 30 days (temporary privileges available)

License Requirement : Active AL license or IMLC- IPL will help with AL licensure.

Call Coverage

Call Type : Beeper

Response Time : 30 minutes

Phone Consults : 5 per day

Patients Seen : 25 per day

Admissions : 1 per day

Call Ratio : TBD
