The Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for performing detailed financial analysis and reporting for their assigned contracts. In this role, the Analyst will interact closely with the program team and functional departments to ensure the accuracy of monthly cost projections, and sales and profit forecasts.We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for : Level II Responsibilities

Support assigned programs with timely analysis, financial modeling and recommendations for decision making.

Use analysis to identify and investigate program issues and advise on appropriate course of action.

Conduct program analysis, maintain forecasts and provide monthly Estimate at Completion (EACs).

Establish and maintain standard corporate financial reports and program status reports.

Provide real time information to Finance Manager regarding changes in program financials and execution.

Ensure program financials are accurate and complete and are in accordance with SOX and Internal Controls.

Other duties as assigned.

Level III Responsibilities

Use analysis and financial data to advise program managers and business leaders during monthly reviews and during critical business decisionsServe as primary liaison between Finance and Program leadership teamsProvide real time information to Director, Finance regarding changes in program financials and executionCreate and maintain standard financial reports : orders, sales, cost, profit and cash flow forecasts, Monthly Program Status Reports, Earned Value reportsEnsure program financials are in accordance with SOX and Internal ControlsEstablish and maintain baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (Deltek Cobra)Analyze program data to ensure estimates are accurate and completeMentor and train junior staff to ensure robust Program Finance talent pipeline

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required, degrees in Accounting or Finance preferred.2 years minimum of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.5 Years minimum for those hired in at a level III.Ability to use Excel to analyze and interpret financial data (intermediate level preferred).Program Finance / Government contracting experience is preferred.Program baselining, forecasting, and financial support.Familiarity with FAR / DFAR is preferred.Oracle experience is a plus.Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).Must work well in a team environment.Must have a self-starter mentality.Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

• This role is open at multiple levels. Candidates will be hired at a level consistent with their background and experience :

Level II - $69,500 - $104,100

Textron's compensation package includes competitive base pay and provides eligible employees with benefit programs. The pay range should be used as a general guide only. Compensation is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

In compliance with the local pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is

$69,500 - $129,700 per year.
