About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Technician

Profession : Sonographer

Specialty : Ultrasound

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 10H Days

Hours per Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM, with call and no weekends

Experience : 1 year of Sonography experience

License : Not required

Certifications : ARDMS, BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : Must be able to establish IV and have contrast experience

Description :

Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department.

Perform high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs.

Procedures include abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, head, extremity, retro-peritoneal, small parts, and vascular imaging.

Potential for cardiac imaging at certain locations.

Establish IVs when applicable.

Cancellation policy allows the facility to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, and 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks.

Charting system used is EpicCare Inpatient - EMR.
