The Radiologic Technician plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services while adhering to regulatory and departmental standards. The responsibilities vary based on the setting, but generally include performing radiographic exams that are thorough, safe, and professional. Safety is our priority, and all procedures must follow the ALARA principle to limit patient radiation exposure.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Position patients correctly under the X-ray machine, utilize immobilization devices, and ensure proper radiation protection; regulate exposure settings appropriately.
• Assist physicians with various patient care tasks, including performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and administering injections.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of services, including radiological film files; manage logs for X-rays sent out for consultations.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, comply with OSHA safety standards, and ensure all documentation is accurate and ethical.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

PAY RANGE : $23.30 - $33.25 Hourly
