Application Security Engineer

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to enhance the security of their platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy scalable, integrated security solutions that fit seamlessly into developer workflows

Drive security reviews for new features and major launches, including threat modeling, design, and code analysis

Partner with teams to manage vulnerability remediation and provide expertise during security incidents and postmortems

Required Qualifications

7+ years of Application Security experience

Experience with at least 1 major programming language (Go, Python, Java, etc.)

Expert knowledge and understanding of best practices for software security, threat modeling, and typical vulnerabilities
