We are seeking an Asset Reliability Manager to oversee our client’s assets with their asset management system. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and optimizing asset management and reliability activities. Collaboration with other departments is crucial to ensure the effective management of assets, reduce life cycle costs, and enhance asset reliability. Additionally, you will develop efficient processes and procedures to facilitate data-driven decision-making. The Asset Reliability Manager will provide supervision and guidance to the EAM Technician.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage planned preventative maintenance activities, including vendor bids, contracts, price adjustments, and purchase orders.
- Collaborate with directors to establish critical inventory, work plans, and accountabilities within the new work management program, ensuring accountability post-implementation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on field assets, acting as a liaison between field personnel, middle management, and company leadership.
- Screen work orders, identify scope, and analyze planning requirements, including QA / QC considerations.
- Conduct field walk-downs to identify job requirements and safety hazards.
- Collaborate with area management and staff to create comprehensive work packages, encompassing man hours, crafts, equipment, resources, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain job plans for repetitive maintenance tasks.
- Provide planning and support for equipment outages, unit shutdowns, and turnarounds.
- Manage the maintenance backlog and ensure a minimum of 2 weeks’ worth of ready backlog is maintained.
- Oversee the lifecycle of work orders, including close-out upon completion.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Assume responsibility for internal and external communication to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with support staff to maintain knowledge of product capabilities and ensure precise communication with stakeholders.
- Offer technical advice and cooperate with all departments within the organization.
- Develop and enforce maintenance standards and procedures.
- Adapt to changing duties and responsibilities based on business needs, customer demands, or industry requirements.
- Ensure that the Enterprise Asset Management system meets reliability, maintenance, and reporting requirements as they evolve.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.10+ years of experience in maintenance and engineering.Strong technical background with a deep understanding of reliability engineering principles, predictive maintenance techniques, failure analysis, and statistical analysis.Experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems, with preference for Maximo.Thank you for your interest in this role, but this position is now closed.
