Our Equity Reference Data Product Team is foundational to Bloomberg's Enterprise Content business. We deliver a best-in-class data offering that powers analytics, automation, and decision-making across global equity markets. Our datasets spanning cash equities and listed equity derivatives underpin a wide range of investment, risk, regulatory, and ESG workflows. This business is a critical pillar of our growth strategy in Enterprise Data. As we enter the next wave of AI-driven transformation, our mission is to help clients leverage AI-enabled analytics and agentic data automation to unlock deeper insights, accelerate time-to-decision, and drive alpha. We are seeking a visionary Team Leader to drive the evolution of Bloomberg's Equity Reference Data business globally. This is a leadership position at the intersection of finance, data science, and AI innovation. You will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic roadmap for our Equity Data products shaping the next generation of data solutions for global equity and derivatives markets. You'll lead a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning. In this role, you will champion AI-driven transformation, Agentic AI approaches and be a partner to Clients in their AI and Cloud technology transformation.
Lead innovation inspire, mentor, and develop a team that leverages AI, analytics, and automation to re-imagine data products and workflows. Drive growth in the Equity Data business by defining a forward-looking product strategy, prioritizing high-impact initiatives, and executing with agility. Have experience with listed derivatives and equity data products, effectively expanding datasets that power trading, risk, and quant analytics. Apply data-driven intelligence to measure product performance, uncover insights, and guide data-driven decision-making. Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Client Solutions to deliver commercial and technical innovation aligned with market needs. Understand how clients integrate equity and derivatives data into quantitative, risk, and AI-driven workflows. Build deep relationships with strategic clients, driving co-innovation and partnership around AI-enabled data solutions.
10+ years of experience in product management within financial data, analytics, or technology, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity. Deep understanding of global equity and listed derivatives markets, including corporate actions, indices, and reference data structures. Strong grasp of data science, MCP AI, and agentic automation concepts and how they transform financial data workflows. Proven track record of defining and executing innovative product strategies that deliver measurable business results. Excellent communication skills able to articulate complex, technical concepts with clarity and influence across senior stakeholders. Ability to travel globally as needed to engage with teams, clients, and industry partners.
Passion for AI innovation and the evolving landscape of agentic, intelligent data systems. Understanding of cross-asset data models and quantitative integration. Exposure to Clients workflows across either Trading, Risk, regulation or sustainability. Experience with Python, R, or other data science and analytics programming languages. Salary Range = 180000 - 350000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
