Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Bring your heart and hands to where they’re needed most.
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you’ll help participants reclaim their independence — guiding them through restorative programs that strengthen the body, sharpen the mind, and restore confidence in daily living. You’ll work closely with an Occupational Therapist to carry out individualized care plans and make every session count.
What You’ll Do :
Implement treatment programs designed by the Occupational Therapist
Help participants improve performance in ADLs through purposeful activities
Record progress and deliver interventions that enhance balance, endurance, and cognitive function
Assist with scheduling, documentation, and maintaining therapy equipment
Collaborate with a caring, interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes
What You Bring :
Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program (U.S. or evaluated equivalent)
Valid California Occupational Therapy Assistant License (or license-eligible)
2+ years of experience working with frail or elderly participants in a clinical setting
