As a culinary specialist, you will work closely with chefs to prepare meals that are comparable to those found in top restaurants. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that soldiers have access to nutritious and delicious food, both in the field and at home stations.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve meals to soldiers in various settings
Order, inspect, and manage food supplies
Ensure kitchen safety and sanitation standards are met
Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs
Requirements
Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
Be between 17 and 34 years old
Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
Meet specific tattoo guidelines
Have no major law violations or medical concerns
Training & Certifications
Participate in 10 weeks of basic training
Complete 8 weeks of advanced individual training
Meet the ASVAB score requirement for operators and food (OF)
