Job Summary
Perform duties of a custodian, as well as other duties related to facilitates management operations, with exceptional customer service. Cleans the interior of buildings.
Responsibilities
1. Clean and maintain assigned areas. - 50%
- Clean and service lavatories.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets and rugs.
- Collect loose debris and deposit it in the appropriate receptacles.
- Remove and replace full receptacle liners and place full liners in the appropriate collection area.
- Clean receptacles when necessary.
- Mop and sweep floors, stairs and other hard surfaces.
2. Completion of work orders, radio calls and projects as assigned by the shift supervisor. - 40%
3. Assist with Deliveries - 10%

This job requires working with and around chemicals and complies with environmental health and safety requirements and procedures as outlined by University and State policies and directives.

Expected Hours of Work :
This is a 40 hour per week, 12 months per year position. Typical working hours are on 1st Shift (8 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm), Monday - Friday. Some overtime may be required. This position is considered essential personnel and must be available outside of normal working hours if needed to support contingency operations such as snow removal or support of special events.
