OverviewGreat outcomes start with great people and Armor has an exciting opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Part Time 24 hours a week to join our team at Erie County Prison in Erie, PA.Responsibilities

• Performs psychiatric examinations and evaluations, diagnoses, treatment, follow-up consultation and health education
• Works closely with the BHD and / or BHPs in identifying appropriate treatment plans for at-risk patients, or as needed
• Intermittently attends morning huddle calls, when indicated and / or when there are high-risk patients that require multidisciplinary treatment planning and collaboration
• Obtains patient histories, follows up with medication verification efforts, reviews pertinent medical history and develops patient care treatment plans, ensuring completeness and accuracy using the POMR format
• Provides support in coordinating the activities of patient care and / or support staff
• Participates in developing specific mental health policies and procedures, when indicatedQualifications
• Current state license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Current CPR certificate
• Two (2) years of experience in psychiatric and / or correctional healthcare setting
• Proficient with electronic medical records
