As a 3D Artist, you will be working with a team of talented engineers and artists to co-develop new games and experiences with AAA partners that work with Roblox. You will be helping the partner from prototyping to primary preproduction, with your responsibilities shifting from co-creating to advising and guiding toward the end of their production cycle. Creating environment assets, materials, and helping with world building in Roblox Studio, you’ll be collaborating with other artists internally and with the AAA partner to bring these creations to life on our platform. You will also assist in onboarding and educating the partner, so they can wrap the project on their own, using your advice and guidance to complete the game.

You will :

• Be a subject matter expert on environment art creation, including foliage, props, architectural, and weapons.
• Collaborate with artists and engineers to bring this content into engine for prototypes and to assist in early production of a game.
• Work alongside AAA developers, provide technical support, and solve problems across the character pipeline.
• Evaluate our internal workflows and tools to develop a POV on areas of critical investment; bring knowledge of industry best practices to the team
• Work with leads on Game Solutions to advocate for the most impactful features or technology improvements with senior leadership in Roblox.
• Partner with our community engagement and documentation teams to build tutorials and sample content when necessary

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
