About the Opportunity :
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Fabrication Modeler / Designer (Revit Modeler) for a contract-to-hire role based in Austin, TX. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely until conversion to a full-time employee, after which relocation to Austin will be required (relocation bonus provided). This is a W2 opportunity; C2C arrangements will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, draft, and develop fabrication-level 3D models for electrical systems using Revit, including power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and telecommunications systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure 3D coordination across various disciplines.
- Develop fully detailed LOD400 models that are clash-free.
- Conduct Navisworks flythroughs during coordination meetings with stakeholders.
- Interface with construction trades and perform regular field walks to monitor installation progress and ensure compliance with fabrication models.
