Job Title : Industrial Electrician - 3rd Shift Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Electrician for our 3rd shift team. The primary focus of this role is to maintain and repair the electrical components of presses during the night shift. This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment and contribute to the smooth operation of our facility.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
- Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, install, and test switch gears, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
- Understand and apply ladder / relay logic using Allen Bradley & Siemens PLCs.
- Work with DC drives and comply with NEC Codes.
- Edit and teach Fanuc and / or Comau robots.
- Troubleshoot machinery, including robots and stamping presses, using test equipment and schematics.
- Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems and devices.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records in accordance with standards.

Work in a stamping and robotic weld facility equipped with 42 presses and robots, situated in an older building. The environment requires adherence to safety protocols, including the use of steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and sleeves. The facility currently operates two shifts and maintains a lean workforce, providing an engaging and dynamic work atmosphere.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Center Line, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.45 - $35.45 / hr.
