The two co-teachers will co-teach together on Wednesday’s.
We are currently looking for a teacher who is credentialed and is a practicing Catholic as one of the responsibilities will be to teach religion to students. The co-teacher will need to be able to perform the following duties :
- Planning and implementing lesson plans and instructional strategies
- Preparing and setting up the classroom environment, noth the physical space and implementing the behavior management system in coordination with their co-teacher
- Organize and grade assignments that need to be inputted into the online grading system in a reasonable manner of time
- Have experience working with, and willing to learn to grow professionally, in supporting students that are both high achieving learners and lower performing students
- Continually assessing, analyzing and communicating with students and parents in a timely manner. All interactions with students and parents must be professional and productive
- Participate in professional development workshops, trainings and conferences to grow spiritually, academically and professionally
- Provide supervision during the school day and participate in summer camp (Some exceptions do apply for Summer Camp)
- Perform all responsibilities of a teacher during all field trips and out of classroom learning opportunities
- Have an attitude of collaboration and willingness to take on new challenges
