Job Description
The Section of Cardiology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, University Health, and University Health Physicians seek staff faculty members for a Non-invasive Cardiology role. The individual should have the clinical, academic, and personal skills to contribute to an active academic section. This is a full-time position.
Practice Highlights
- Flexible call rotation
- Academic practice and academic appointment, with integrated teaching and clinical research
- ACGME accredited IM residency and cardiology fellowship program
- A full array of industry leading, innovative clinical trials and opportunity to author peer-review publications
- Team of 4 non-invasive cardiologists, 3 Interventional Cardiologists and 7 advanced practice registered nurses
- Practice is a mix of general and interventional Cardiology including cardiac catheterization, and PCI. No structural cases.
- Expected clinical responsibilities include inpatient rounding at University Health Truman Medical Center and outpatient consultative work at two practice sites.
