Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Salary Range : $5,400 - $5,950 per month
Full CSU Classification Salary Range : $5,158 - $12,730 per month
- This is a full-time, probationary, exempt position.
Area of consideration is limited to on-campus, state funded employees only.
The CSU system provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), sick and vacation time, and 15 paid holidays a year. Job Summary
Working independently under the supervision of the Director of the Office of Innovation and Digital Excellence for Academic Success (IDEAS) or designee, the Academic Technology Specialist supports faculty, academic support units, staff, students, and other campus clients by providing consultation and support to enhance the use and access of technology. This position will serve as the Academic Technology Resource Center (ATRC) specialist, overseeing a number of student assistants working in ATRC, DISCOVERe, and IDEAS. Responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring ongoing divisional communication, meetings and events. The incumbent will interface and effectively communicate with a diverse group of people; provide advisory service; serve as custodian of all resource information / files for unit activities; and maintain an open and effective work environment and rapport as a key information resource. This position may be assigned a variety of other tasks including requirement's analysis, documentation and quality assurance testing.
Key Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of office systems, and ability to use a broad range of technology, systems and software packages.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to develop and deliver technical training, user documentation and working with users to interpret needs and provide appropriate solutions.
