Mountain Shadows Dental is a general dentistry clinic seeking an experienced Dental Assistant or EDDA to join our team part-time. We believe in nurturing the growth of each team member and foster a work environment where diversity is valued. We are led by a fantastic General Dentist who values his team, invests in training, and provides a variety of dental treatments - you will not be bored!
This is a part-time , Friday position. We are looking for a Dental Assistant or EDDA who will bring reliability, a strong work ethic, a fun attitude, and a team-oriented and patient-centric focus to our practice. If this sounds like you, apply today- we'd love to hear from you!
Schedule : Fridays : 7am-2pm

Responsibilities :
- Welcoming patients into the practice with a genuine and caring welcome using the patient's name
- Preparing patients for treatment to ensure the highest level of care and comfort are achieved
- Preparing rooms for surgical and restorative procedures
- A thorough review of patient health history adding updates as necessary
- Assisting the Dentist chairside and the ability to work independently
- Capturing diagnostic radiographs
- Capturing 3D scans - experience with iTero is a plus
- Assisting with Invisalign cases
- Placing composite restorations
- Assisting with all types of prosthodontic procedures
- Providing postoperative instructions after procedures, answering any questions patients may have about dental care provided, and scheduling appointments for follow-up care
- Sterilizing instruments according to regulations
- Maintaining a timely schedule
- Managing lab cases including tracking, progress, and delivery
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory and supplies
- Monitoring and maintaining dental equipment
