Job Description

Rohde & Schwarz USA Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for their Columbia MD location. This role involves overseeing 2 of 4 verticals (Industry Components and Research and Wireless Communications) in the DFW area . The ideal candidate will bring expertise in electronics RF testing sales cycle management and communications technologies to this role. The position offers remote work flexibility but requires 15% travel for domestic and international trips lasting 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Account Management : Lead the sales cycle for two verticals Industry Components and Research and Wireless Communications.
  • Sales Cycle : Manage the complete sales cycle from initial customer contact through to purchase order placement.
  • Technical Expertise : Utilize advanced knowledge in time and frequency domain electronic testing and RF technology.
  • Equipment Handling : Configure and operate Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers vector network analyzers and other RF measurement equipment.
  • Customer Relationship : Cultivate longterm customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Travel : Travel up to 15% for domestic and international trips (12 weeks in duration).
  • Collaboration : Work crossfunctionally with the Rohde & Schwarz team to support customer needs and drive business growth.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5 years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience including :
  • Experience in time and frequency domain electronic and RF testing applications.

  • Expertise in testing highspeed analogdigital converters DCDC regulators RF amplifiers and onwafer measurements.
  • Proficiency in configuring and operating R&S family of equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers power meters).
  • Solid experience with communication protocols and broadcast standards including WCDMA LTE and 5G.
  • Familiarity with SAP MS Office and sales reporting platforms.
  • Handson experience with frequency domain measurement equipment like signal analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
  • Desired Skills :

  • Experience in electronics and communications especially radio frequency technologies.
  • Strong background in managing the entire sales process including identifying opportunities customer engagement and closing deals.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction and collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
