Schedule : Onsite 5 days / week 8am-5pm
About the Role
The Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing and mailing of tax vouchers and maintaining proper documentation in the PPT application for tracking. This role requires a strong understanding of standard industry concepts, practices, and procedures, and involves performing a variety of detailed and complex tasks. The position also serves as a backup for preparing property tax bills, ensuring timely payment, billing lessees, and reviewing assessed values for accuracy while tracking any discrepancies. The specialist will respond to customer inquiries regarding property tax charges and provide clear, detailed explanations and calculations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process and mail property tax vouchers in a timely manner
- Input and maintain documents in the PPT Application for tracking and audit purposes
- Support preparation of property tax bills, ensuring on-time payments and accurate billing to lessees
- Review assessed property values for accuracy and reasonableness
- Identify, track, and resolve tax discrepancies and related issues
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding property tax charges
- Provide clear, thorough explanations and calculations to resolve customer questions
- Maintain compliance with internal processes and regulatory standards
