Remote Accountant Jobs in Huntington Beach, CA

Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Accountant to help the team with complex journal entries and reconciliations.

Responsibilities :

Own the preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

Tackle complex accounting issues and sort out messy or incomplete entries

Perform month-end close activities with minimal oversight

Reconcile bank accounts and other key GL accounts

Support the transition from Great Plains to QuickBooks

Collaborate cross-functionally to obtain missing data or clarify transaction details

Maintain accounting records in compliance with US GAAP

Qualifications :

5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, data cleanup)

Experience with Great Plains, QuickBooks , SAP , or any Dynamics platform preferred

Background in real estate or hospitality industries is a plus
