Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Junior or Senior Accountant at PHASIUM / Megmeet USA (San Jose, CA). The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance and experience in financial reporting and budget management. They should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software. Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to meet deadlines, are essential.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare accurate journal entries for month-end processes

Assist in preparing financial statements and related disclosures

Review and reconcile statements to identify and correct any payment issues

Interpret and understand billing / payment activity; Coordinate with A / R Manager for activities such as journal entry, reconciliation, internal invoice processing, etc.

Maintain various logs, including items such as commission payment, NRE log, with supporting documentation, etc.

Communicate with agencies and bank rep as needed

Miscellaneous projects assigned

Assist with the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports

Manage payments to suppliers, landlord billings, warehouse billings, etc.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting

General accounting experience would be a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Quickbooks Desktop and skilled in generating various reports(Pivots, VLOOKUP, etc)

Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a global, fast-paced environment

Strong teamwork ethic and willingness to assist other team members

Communication Skills : Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Organizational Skills : Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational skills

Language : English is must and Chinese is plus.
