Job Summary

Compass Group, the worlds leading contract foodservice company, has a great opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC as an Accounting Coordinator . The primary role is providing support to the Field Accounting team while providing top notch internal customer service.  This role offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities :

• Produce and park centralized journal entry uploads weekly and at period end
• Produce and park standard accounting entries weekly and at period end
• Distribute SAP reports and other accounting reports weekly and at period end
• Processing and mailing checks daily
• Process Check-on-Demand requests
• Process Closing Book Entries
• Process daily AR uploads into SAP via an Access database
• Track and resolve all Accounts Payable returned checks
• Enter source documents into SAP
• Create period-end entries for various chargebacks
• Review and process errors from In Unit Accounting Systems into SAP
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the management team, as needed
