Job descriptionPay $35.00 / Hr. Hours : 9 / 80 HRs / Wk. Length : Temp (6 Months). High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years experience in Accounting from a manufacturing or aerospace company. Minimum of 3 years experience in MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Associate Degree Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Manufacturing industry experience, preferably in defense or aerospace Experience with Infor BAAN or Deltek Costpoint Government accounting. Highly organized, able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a team environment and develop strong working relationships with coworkers across all departments. Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively (both writing and verbally) with other departments and customers, both internal and external. Ability to work independently and flexibly in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Anaheim, CA. Interested?
Here's what you'd do :
- In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring that financial accounting transactions are appropriately posted within the ERP system in a timely and compliant manner.
- Provides transactional processing support to the department for routine transactions, such as accounts payable processing, accounts receivable billing / invoicing, payroll, time & labor, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensures accurate transactional data within the ERP System.
- Works with customers and vendors to address data discrepancies or address various business-related inquiries.
- Confirms transactions and data are processed according to ERP system and compliance requirements.
- Proactively addresses issues with impacted individuals to ensure data is processed in a compliant and timely manner.
- To ensure that system data is processed appropriately, issues are brought to the attention of the right individuals, and others are trained as needed.
- Assists with reconciling assigned financial accounts, investigates questionable data, and recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Uses existing systems to input data, generate reports, conduct research projects, and respond to related inquiries.
- Assists with preparing the reporting schedules and other internal reporting requests.
- Assists with other accounting department tasks and reporting as needed.
- Adheres to client Sarbanes-Oxley Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFRs), GAAP, and client Accounting Policies.
- Understands the requirements of internal customers and provides valuable, timely data to assist in the decision-making process.
