Volt  is immediately hiring for an  Accounting Clerk   in Albuquerque, NM

As an  Accounting Clerk , you will :

• Balance "Daily Cash Summery Report"
• Prepare Deposits
• Manage Credit Card reports from counter and employees with terminals
• Generate invoices for cash, charge & cash nontaxable sales from counter.
• Post Payments
• Print customer aging, follow up on collection calls, and send out friendly reminders for past due customer
• Manage customer credit applications and run credit reports on potential new customers
• set up new customer accounts
• print and mail / email monthly statements
• Process customer refunds
• Manage purchase orders, packing slips A / P invoices to be paid
• Audit A / P invoices and send for appropriate approvals to employees
• Enter A / P invoices into Sage for payment
• General office duties including attending to customers on the phone and in person, filing, data entry etc.

Pay Rate :   $20.00-24.00 DOE

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hr. Lunch

The ideal candidate will have the following experience :

Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Accounting

Experience with Sage is a plus!!
