Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. CPA required. Minimum of 7-10 years in finance or accounting, with 3-5 years in people management and leadership. Knowledge of GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Public accounting experience and experience with publicly listed companies required. Experience in documenting and analyzing business processes and workflows. Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems (e.g., ERP systems, D365, BI tools). Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Accounting Manager
The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager role will have a well-rounded accounting background and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. This position will be responsible for close functions including financial statement analysis, third-party accounting / reporting, internal and external audit compliance, and quarterly reporting. The Accounting Senior Manager will be a valuable partner in building close business relationships with divisional and operational team members to ensure accurate financial statements, and to enhance and establish robust close processes.
As part of Tylers corporate staff, you will impact outcomes across various areas of the company. Your work will support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.

Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, workpaper preparation and analysis, third-party accounting / reporting, etc.
- Manage monthly and quarterly internal financial reporting.
- Manage financial analysis and ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
- Oversee quarterly and annual external reporting packages for auditors.
- Create and maintain SOX-related narratives and risk matrices for areas of responsibility.
- Serve as liaison with internal and external audit teams.
- Identify process and system improvements to increase close efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for roles and related systems, ERP, PSA, etc.
- Coordinate with other departments to communicate financial results.
- Partner with divisional planners to ensure visibility into accounting systems for forecasting and budgeting.
- Understand business goals, objectives, and trends to translate results into accurate analysis.
- Develop, analyze, and drive business process change across Tylers multi-divisional operating base to improve efficiencies.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
