A high-tech manufacturing company in the renewable energy industry is seeking an Accounting Clerk to oversee accounting, data entry, payroll and general office administrative responsibilities. This is a new position being added due to growth and will be supporting the Accounting Manager during this exciting time for the company!

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for science? If so, we are looking for you! We are seeking a motivated and experienced Permanent Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team in the scientific industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This is a unique opportunity to combine your love for numbers with the thrilling world of scientific discovery.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Accounting Clerk, your duties will include but are not limited to :
1. Utilizing Netsuite to manage financial transactions and create financial reports.
2. Reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of entries.
3. Processing business transactions and ensuring that all entries are recorded accurately in the ledger.
4. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
5. Collaborating with the accounting team to improve financial processes and systems.
6. Conducting data entry responsibilities.
7. Assisting with general office admin responsibilities
8. Assist with payroll
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, you should have :
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
2. Proficiency in Netsuite or an equivalent accounting software.
3. Demonstrated ability to reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of entries.
4. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable / receivable principles.
5. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
6. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
8. Proficiency in English and in MS Office.
9. High degree of familiarity with ledger functions and the process of closing books.
10. An associate's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is a plus.
