Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Accounting and Finance, the Accounting Manager will oversee critical financial operations in this large and stable organization.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
As an Accounting Manager , you will :
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
- Ensure financial reports are accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant.
- Develop and monitor internal controls, maintaining the chart of accounts, fixed asset inventory, and depreciation schedules.
- Create and manage annual budgets and monthly forecasting models.
- Review journal entries for accurate monthly and year-end financial statements.
- Present financial reports to senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition for both contributions and earned revenue.
- Support balance sheet accounts, including cash, receivables, fixed assets, and deferred revenue.
- Prepare schedules for annual audits and IRS Form 990, including the statement of financial position.
- Handle tax payments and filings, including sales tax, ensuring compliance and timeliness.
- Collaborate with departmental staff to maintain precise financial data.
- Analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Carry out other assigned duties that support financial operations.
