As a Director of Accounting , you will lead the Reporting and SG&A functions of the Victra Accounting team to ensure appropriate accounting and accurate presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related reporting.

YOUR FOCUS (JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES) :

You will be a business partner for operational leadership within the organization while helping your team establish and maintain a cross-functional accounting and close process that aligns with the goals of the organization. You are a very thorough person with intellectual curiosity and the highest level of integrity. As a Victra Director of Accounting, you will :

• Manage various accounting functions as needed, including fixed assets, lease accounting, debt and equity, and corporate SG&A, as well as associated analysis and reporting
• Own the financial reporting function, including monthly management and lender reporting and quarterly and annual financials
• Oversee intercompany eliminations and consolidation
• Supervise the accounting team's performance over the close process to meet deadlines
• Technical accounting research, including contract review for accounting implications and documenting findings and recommendations in accounting memos
• Maintain the system of internal controls to adequately safeguard company assets and ensure the accurate presentation of financial statements; make recommendations for and drive improvement
• Respond to inquiries from Operations and Senior Management team regarding financial results and special reporting requirements
• Assist with PBC packages during financial and operational audits
• Lead / oversee special projects as assigned (e.g., adoption of a new GAAP standard, valuation, bank audits, etc.)
• Ad-hoc analysis of more complex balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Provide regular constructive feedback on performance and development opportunities and address lagging performance in a timely manner
