Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred but not required Proven experience in general corporate & operational accounting to include financial reporting in a complex corporate entity with multiple operating companies and divisions. Experience with Real Estate Accounting and software is a plus but not required Proficiency in Excel and accounting software. Responsibilities :
- Manage the accounting staff and oversee processes to include the general ledger accounting activities, month end close and analysis. The role is hands-on accounting with the Manager working alongside the team.
- Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and corporate reporting standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering professional development and career growth / knowledge.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all financial transactions and reports.
