G&H is looking for a Group Accounting Clerk to support its US sites in an internal shared services organization. The position's scope includes :

• Processing A / P invoices by verifying accuracy of documentation and matching receiving, purchase orders, invoice and shipping information. Compiles data and prepares appropriate forms and reports as required.
• Working closely with site personnel to remedy exception transactions
• Preparing and processing weekly A / P checks
• Maintaining vendor master files as needed
• Processing and distributing year end 1099 statements and Processing W-9 requests
• Processing Cash receipts, preparing daily deposits and applying payments to customer accounts
• Maintaining A / R customer credit files
• Processing A / R customer credit / debit adjustments
• Processing customer credit card payment transactions
• Updating month-end contract information spread sheets
• Assisting in processing inter-company accounting transactions
• Validating general ledger account numbers on purchase order requisitions and invoices

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The responsibilities of this position will involve having access to items and technical data that may be controlled under U.S. export laws and regulations ("U.S. Export Control Laws"), including but not limited to the Export Administration Regulations ("EAR") and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations ("ITAR"). In order to comply with the U.S. Export Control Laws, and in conjunction with the review of candidates for those positions within G&H that may present access to export-controlled technical data, G&H must assess whether candidates are "U.S. persons" as defined under the EAR (15 C.F.R.
