Job descriptionSupport the monthly, quarterly, and yearly billing cycles with monthly financial packs, including preparing and reconciling balance sheets, profit / loss statements, and other finance reports and schedules. Support annual budgeting and forecasting process. Prepare staff productivity reports and collaborate with project staff to implement processes to improve timekeeping accuracy and efficiency. Maintain accurate financial reports and ensure adherence to GAAP and relevant financial regulations. Participate in internal and external audit processes, providing information and documentation when required. Manages AP / AR and client billing processes; manages and reconciles general ledger. Main point of contact for office and Crown Center operations team regarding staff changes (parking and building access), security, and facility access. Oversees office lease with VP of finance and maintenance of office, including managing office supplies and equipment. Assist team members with administrative tasks on an ad hoc basis, as needed. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. 5-7 years of experience in accounting. Well-organized, attention to detail; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to bring new ideas and concepts to create efficiencies. Strong understanding of accounting software (NetSuite and project accounting preferred). Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional lifting or carrying of items up to 20 pounds, such as office supplies or documents. Ability to move within the office to access files, office machines, or attend meetings. Empathy - understanding client needs to customize solutions.
