You will play a key role in managing the general ledger, overseeing month-end close processes, and contributing to the financial planning efforts of the organization. / ppResponsibilities : / pulliSupervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. / liliOversee general ledger operations, ensuring timely and accurate posting of financial transactions. / liliManage month-end, quarterly, and year-end close processes, meeting all reporting deadlines. / liliReview and approve complex journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules to maintain consistency and compliance. / liliDevelop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy. / liliConduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, resolving discrepancies and maintaining detailed documentation. / liliCollaborate with various departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives. / liliEnsure payroll operations are accurate, timely, and in compliance with company policies and regulations. / liliMaintain adherence to gaming laws, company policies, and federal regulations, while upholding internal controls. / liliProvide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders, aligning with the organizations customer service standards. / li / ulpRequirements : / pulliA minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. / liliStrong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting standards. / liliProven expertise in managing month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and audit compliance. / liliExceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and develop team members. / liliAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems, with experience in Workday preferred. / liliBachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA certification is a plus. / liliHospitality or gaming industry experience is highly desirable. / liliAbility to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. / li / ul / div
