Accounting Analyst

At Regions, the Accounting Analyst prepares accurate and timely financial reporting that may include, but not limited to, special requests, producing monthly and quarterly reporting, and adding value through continued process improvement. Analyst will have specialized knowledge of own discipline or function and may interpret internal or external issues and recommends solutions / best practices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assists in preparation detailed reports and presentations for review by all levels of management
• Contributes to process improvements and makes recommendations on occasion
• Researches and responds to technical accounting inquiries from our business partners
• Analyzes and resolves problems using prescribed guidelines or policies
• Completes ad-hoc reporting or other special projects as they arise
• May act as a resource for associates with less experience
• Creates and maintains databases, documentation, and data in a meaningful format
• Works independently and receives minimal guidance

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include : experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

Job Range Target :

Minimum : $64,945.10 USD

Median : $90,000.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans : This job is not incentive eligible.
