We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Pinellas Park, Florida. The selected candidate will play a key role in managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping, and supporting essential accounting processes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions, including inventory management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Process vendor invoices and credit card expenses, ensuring proper coding and documentation of all transactions.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accurately assigning general ledger accounts.
• Assist in completing month-end closing procedures and preparing related reports.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and provide support during transitions to new banking systems.
• Collaborate with leadership to understand business operations and streamline accounting workflows.
• Support the documentation and improvement of accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Proven expertise in transactional accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
• Familiarity with inventory accounting, cost allocation, and related processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle high volumes of transactions while maintaining accuracy.
• Self-motivated and resourceful with a positive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with management and team members.
• Experience in bank reconciliations is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems is highly desirable.
