Job Description and Duties

Anticipated Interview Dates : In-person interviews are anticipated to start the week of July 16th, 2024.

This position requires full-time attendance in the office, working onsite five days per week.

CalPERS seeks an Accountant Trainee or Accountant Officer Specialist in the Financial Reporting and Accounting Services Division, Travel Unit.

The position is responsible for all aspects of processing and reimbursing administrative revolving fund account advances and payments, including, but not limited to payment, recording, reporting, and reconciliation of travel, training, salary, and miscellaneous expenses, accounts receivables, and payroll. The position will audit relocation and travel expense claims and other requests for reimbursement from employees, board members, and retirees.
