As part of the Seed Beauty family, we redefine what it means to innovate fast — and have fun doing it. **This position will be onsite in Sherman Oaks 4-5 days/week.

Only Southern CA based candidates will be considered ColourPop is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and supervise accounting activities, including revenue/accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, inventory, and general ledger accounting.
  • Prepare and record journal entries.
  • Manage the monthly financial close, ensuring compliance with US GAAP Review all account reconciliations including variance analysis.
  • Prepare month-end financial statements.
  • Review and reconcile sales & use tax.
  • Review inventory transactions and reconciliations as needed.
  • Direct intercompany activity ensuring transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
  • Responsible for fixed asset accounting and subledger reconciliations Assist as needed with annual external audit.
  • Assist as needed with preparation of monthly financial statements.
  • Assist with implementation of internal controls, documentation of accounting procedures, and any enhancement to monthly reporting.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the accounting team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2 or more years in a supervisory role.
  • Inventory experience is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP system (Microsoft Navision is a plus) Hands-on, flexible, and able to adapt to changes quickly.
  • Able to work both collaboratively across teams and independently.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ability to meet firm deadlines.
